What´s going on?

Last year we designed a row of idents for Danish National Broadcasts HD channel, and this year we got to do it again. Five new idents were commissioned all deriving from specific themes that represent the channels icore values. The result goes onair very soon – and when it does you can see them here on the site.

Beast is a new motion picture that we had the good fortune to be a part of. Aside from our usual opening sequence stuff, this time we worked on VFX shots as well as designing several CG scenes. Watch the opening sequence here.

We´ve just completed a fun little opening sequence for a new show called “GameBusters” .
The show is all about computer games, and the intro plays on that without being too obvious. Check it out right here

Last year we worked on “Sommer i Sunny Beach” and “Ugen hvor kvinderne byttede mænd” – This year both shows got a small facelift. We´ve updated both projects here on our site with the more recent versions. Out with the old – in with the new.

Yet another docu-drama completed and this time a show about plastic surgeons at a Copenhagen clinic. Runs on TV3 right now.

Busy late summer for us here at FormTroopers. We´ve just finnished work on TV3´s new docu-drama “Redningskvinder” featuring women in different rescue services. The show is produced by Monday Media and runs throughout the autumn on TV3.

At the exhibition ART MOVES, film has been invited into the world of visual art and vice versa. Four visual artists and four film directors working in pairs have created new works each consisting of a film and a spatial installation that extends the artistic universe of the film. The participating film directors are known for their work with feature films, music videos and documentaries, while the visual artists work in genres like painting, graphics, photography, ceramics, sculpture and installations. ART MOVES focuses on what happens when film and visual art are fused. What new stories and what kind of artistic sensibility grow out of the encounter between the two media.

FormTroopers worked with director Christoffer Boe and artist Ingvar Cronhammar on a film entitled “KILL”. It´s one of four films featured at an exibihition in Copenhagens “Gl. Strand” gallery. The films have been produced by Fridthjof Film and are supported by New Danish Screen.

We´ve just finished updating Viasat´s onair look for their NFL coverage. The opening sequence consists of 3D macro shoots of helmets, balls and the iconic NFL logo. The finished piece will be up on our site at a later date.

Nordisk Film has developed a new docusoap format which will run in Denmark and Norway. It goes by the name “Fristet” which translated means “Tempted”. We here at FormTroopers helped with the opening sequence and graphics.

Roskilde Festival is one of the largest annual music festivals in the world. This year Vega Pictures documented the festival in a series sold to danish broadcaster “Kanal 5″ and norwegian station “TV Norge”. We were asked to make an opening sequence that would capture the mood of Roskilde. We came up with a gritty 8mm-type sequence, that gives the viewer that “festival experience”.
